Who runs Rainline Marin

Rainline Marin is owned and operated by Ahsan Mirza. This page explains what information is involved when you browse the site or call its phone number, what it is used for, and the choices available to you.

What the website collects

There are no forms, logins, accounts or email sign-ups anywhere on Rainline Marin, so the site never asks you to enter your name, address or email.

A small amount of technical data is handled automatically when a page loads:

• Hosting. Pages are delivered through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address, browser details and the pages you request in order to serve the site and block abusive traffic.
• Web fonts. The Sora and Inter typefaces load from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends Google a request that includes your IP address.

If we add website analytics in the future, this policy will be updated first to describe what it measures and how to opt out.

What happens when you call

Calls to the number shown here run through a call-tracking and routing provider so they reach a roofing contractor who works where you are. That provider may record your phone number, the date, time and length of the call, and an approximate location based on the number. Where the law allows, calls may be recorded for quality and billing, and you will hear a notice at the start if a call is recorded.

Anything you tell the contractor, such as your address or details about your home, goes to that contractor. Contractors are independent businesses with their own privacy practices.

How the information is used

• Routing your call to a contractor who serves your location.
• Confirming that calls were connected and handling billing with the routing provider.
• Keeping the website secure and available.

Who it is shared with

Call details go to the contractor your call reaches and to the call-routing provider. Technical request data is handled by Cloudflare and Google Fonts as described above. Information may also be disclosed when the law requires it. Personal information is never sold or rented.

Cookies

Rainline Marin does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

How long data is kept

Hosting and security logs are kept only as long as those providers need them. Call records are kept by the routing provider under its own schedule for billing, quality and legal reasons.

Your California privacy rights

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, including the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Rainline Marin does not sell personal information. To make a request, contact the owner, Ahsan Mirza; requests will be answered within the time the law allows.

Children

The site is written for adults dealing with home repairs. It is not directed at children under 13, and no information is knowingly collected from them.

Updates

When this policy changes, the revised version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
